Skate DVDs, new tees, Solid headsets, etc

Big update today... first, we got in a handful of skate DVDs: Element "Elementality Volume 1", Almost Round 3, Blind "What If?", Toy Machine "Good & Evil", and "Dogtown and Z Boys". The Dogtown DVD comes with a ton of bonus features, including a coupon for $7.50 off a ticket to "Lords of Dogtown", which comes out June 3 (offer expires July 15). Pretty sweet deal.

Next up, a new limited edition color in Odyssey's Jim C. pedals, this time it's "blue glow in the dark." Madison approves.

The next picture is a new Odyssey tee shirt called the "Coat of Arms", along with new Kink web belts with bullets all over them...

Solid headsets came back in stock finally... it's been a few years since we've seen these because of a patent dispute with Cane Creek... hopefully Solid can continue to make these, these headsets are absolutely awesome...

And lastly, a few more new tee shirts... the Fit "Owl" tee is an American Apparel shirt, which means a higher thread count and a slimmer fit (i.e. a better tee shirt than most of us are used to)... and a couple new ones from Metal, the "Lightsnake" and a crazy camo girls' shirt with a pink spade logo on it... not for the faint of heart, I'm told...

Back in stock we've got 10 tooth Odyssey cassette hub drivers, sealed Odyssey Jim C. pedals in magnesium or aluminum, red Odyssey cassette hubs, Odyssey Linear cables in red or baby blue, Fit chain tensioners and aluminum seatposts, and Fit "Replica" complete bikes in black...

Is it still winter?? Who knows... got another batch of the "Off The Map" DVD in today (New England spots and riders, real good DVD), and the Little Devil DVD should be in tomorrow... it's supposed to rain all week, maybe a few good DVDs can help ease the pain a little bit... Pray for summer...

That's all for today, enjoy the rest of the weekend...

LITTLE DEVIL DVD

Just got a call from Little Devil, and the new Little Devil collector's edition DVD is on it's way!! This DVD includes Seek and Destroy, Criminal Mischief, a Canadian road trip, a France road trip, and a Little Devil warehouse section... they should be in the shop sometime around Wednesday... definitely a DVD worth having... check out Little Devil's Website by the way... it's being worked on right now, but there is a trailer for the DVD on there somewhere, although I couldn't open it with my crappy computer... better luck to you...

Nothing much going on besides that... may the force be with you...

new tees, brake lever

Got in a couple cool new tee shirts from Kink and Hell On Earth... also Dia-Compe's new Tech 77 "DJ" lever... have you ever snapped a brake lever in half trying to get the perfect bend? I once went through three brake levers in under a half an hour... I'm not proud of that... well, if you're like me and you're a little overzealous with your lever-bending, this may be the lever for you... basically a Tech 77, but with a bend kind of like a Dirt Harry lever...

Back in stock are Odyssey "Path" tires, Tree headset caps, and grey Odyssey Vandero and cassette hubs... and lastly, we've got some more Knight bike co. titanium axles, axle and stem hardware, and cassette drivers coming in early next week...

off the map

The contest at Skater's Edge went well yesterday, pretty much everybody had a good time regardless of how well they did... I mean it's only a bike contest after all, it's supposed to be fun... there were a few people that were especially psyched... for those of you who are curious and weren't there, I'll post the results as soon as I can remember exactly what they were... thanks goes out to Dave from Skater's Edge and John Saxton for setting up the contest, it was fun...

We got in the "Off The Map" DVD today, which is pretty much a New England video featuring Brian Hunt, Brad Jomeson, Aaron Smith, Lee Hopkins, Jeff Allen, Mark Rainha, Seth Holton, Ryan Worcester, Jared Zurawski, Sean Burns, and more... also got Props Megatour 4 back in stock, and Demolition "Team" grips...

We have Solid headsets coming back in in about a week, which is pretty big news... Cane Creek has yet to prove that Solid's design is an infringement on one of their patents, and until they do (if they do?) Solid is able to sell their headsets. In case you don't know, Solid headsets are awesome. That's all for now.

new Fly stuff

Hey y'all, just got back from FBM's Subdivision trade show in New York... it was a pretty good time, the most exciting thing I learned was that Solid is making their headsets again... we'll be getting those back in ASAP! I love Solid headsets, I've been running mine for about five years with no problems... Oh, and I also got to see the Orchid DVD, which is awesome... I hope to see them Monday along with the new Orchid tees, our order shipped out late for some reason or another... sorry to keep you waiting!

We did get in a bunch of stuff from Fly, a bunch of new colors in their Pantera forks, 3 Amigos bars, Pantera frames, Pantera bars (Pantera bars are now 9-butted like the 3 Amigos bars, which means they are about 7.5 ounces lighter but about $20 more), rear brakes, front hubs, and Potencia stems... the colors are hard to describe, but they are cool... come on in and check 'em out...

Got in a couple of new things from Fly, like the Ruben tires (the Campillera and Callejera, which is believe is Spanish for front tire and rear tire) and the Suelo front brake... The Ruben tires, by the way, use "silkworm technology", which you find sometimes in the road bike/mountain bike world and basically makes the tires more puncture resistant...

Other stuff we got back in: Another FBM "Deployer" frame in 20.75", translucent black with Mid BB and internal headset... a 20.6" Terrible One "Bar Code" frame in black with Euro BB... DK, Odyssey and UGP padsets... white Odyssey Linear cables... DK's "Random Wrench"... Shadow "Belter" and "Undertone" tires... DK MPH headsets... aaand I think that's all for today... hope to see you all at Skater's Edge tomorrow...

off the map

Not much going on lately... we've got a bunch of stuff on the way though, including the Orchid DVD and a bunch of Orchid tees (arriving Wednesday or Thursday), and next week we have a whole bunch of new Fly stuff coming in, including the Ruben tires and new colors in all their parts... Also got the "Off the Map" DVD coming in around Monday or Tuesday... I'll keep you posted... Oh yeah, and we've got another FBM "Deployer" frame coming in, in translucent black with a mid bb, 20.75"/internal headset... still waiting on the 22mm bearings, though...

Don't forget about the Taunton/Skater's Edge contest on Sunday... click here to view the flyer... see y'all there....

stuff

The Orchid DVD "Step On It" is done (as you can see from the picture below from the Trans-Am Distribution website) and is shipping out to us on Monday, so we should have it Wednesday or Thursday, so y'all know... we'll also be getting in some new Orchid t-shirts and other stuff... click here to check out their full catalog...

Fit bikes

Got in some new Fit complete bikes... We got in the "Team" in black, silver, and khaki (more like butterscotch), the "Pro" in silver, and the "Replica" in brick red. The "Team" is pretty sweet - it comes with a full 4130 chromoly frame (20.5" top tube), 4130 chromoloy forks and bars, sealed chromoly 3 piece cranks with a sealed Euro bottom bracket, and Odyssey 13 tooth freewheel, sealed hubs, S&M "101" pedals, Fit grips and seat clamp, and a couple of pegs... the graphics are clean, and unlike some other bikes out there it feels like you could actually ride this bike and do some stuff on it... what a novel idea! Hahah... anyways, we still have some older Fit completes on sale, check out our SALE/SPECIALS page for current availablity and a bunch of other stuff... and we'll be getting more Fits in soon, I'll keep you posted... have a good day!

Orchid DVD, Fit bikes

The Orchid DVD "Step On It" has been not surprisingly delayed... Orchid is hoping to get it in by the end of the week, which means that we should have it by the 11th. Hang in there...

We should be getting in some new Fit completes by the end of the week, along with some other goodies...

Can't decide what to get the ol' Mom for Mother's Day? We've got a ton of women's bikes in stock, and we just got in some Giro helmets in women's sizes and colors... Check 'em out next time you're in the shop...
