Elf bars, new rims, Taunton demo

Got in some new stuff today: "Elf" bars from Terrible one... burly .083" wall tubing, made for flat-out abuse... these bad boys aren't light, but if you're bending bars all the time, then you probably won't care... 24.5" width, 11.5 degree backsweep, 1.5 degree upsweep... "raw" finish only... also got T1 Ruben bars in black...

Finally got in some 7005 series aluminum Primo "Balance" rims (as opposed to the regular 6061 Balance rims)... an ounce or two lighter, and a bit stronger...

Other stuff that came back in: Shadow chains, Fly 3 Amigo bars, T1 Medium bars, Fly pegs and Potencia stems, Primo Perverts, Fly DVDs, Federal "9 1/2 weeks in Germany" DVDs, Shook "We Are Everywhere" DVDs, Props 58 and Road Fools 14 DVDs, Primo rim tape, and Dirty Harry brake levers...

Oh yeah, and the demo... there's going to be a demo at Skater's Edge in Taunton on February 26th... Alistair Whitton, Josh Harrington, Allan Cooke, and a handful of other people... should be pretty sweet... I'll post more details when I'm sure of them...

G-sport Marmoset hubs

I was a little skeptical about these hubs based on their looks... I guess maybe I shouldn't be so shallow, because these things are pretty nice... they're MUCH lighter than they look (2.5 ounces lighter than a Vandero hub), the shell and axle are 7075 aluminum, the 20mm axle has stainless steel helicoil thread inserts (so you're not gonna strip this thing out) and has 3/8" grade 8 bolts, oversized Japanese bearings (which should last a long time), and the collars are pretty big which means they'll support everything well while you're smashing your pegs around... and the flanges are kind of short, which means that they won't bend very easily... they're a little expensive, but worth it if you need a good, strong 36 spoke front hub and you use pegs... even if you don't use pegs, the Marmoset is lighter than most front hubs out there, and you could use shorter bolts to save even more weight... yee hawww...

Also got Sunday "Triumph" bars (the big ones) back in. And the Fly DVD is excellent, by the way. And this weather is awesome.

Fly "Uno" DVD is in!

The new Fly DVD "Uno" came in yesterday... I haven't had a chance to check it out yet because I was up north playing in the snow, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be awesome... we'll probably be playing it in the shop today at some point, come on by and check it out!

RNC cranks

Got in some RNC "Pro" cranks... 2024 CNC machined aluminum arms with hardened threads, which eliminates the need for a steel insert... 22mm titanium spindle, Euro bottom bracket with alloy cups and spacers, alloy flush mount bolts, and a lifetime warranty against bending or breaking... pretty inexpensive for cranks with a ti spindle, I might add...
