THOMSON ELITE SEATPOSTS, REFLECTIVE THINGS
Behold, the venerable Thomson Elite seatpost! Made in the USA since 1995, this seatpost is most likely the strongest seatpost in the world, and not much heavier than a carbon post. Post and head are machined from one piece of elliptically extruded 7000 series aluminum, and the forged clamps have 41mm or seat rail grip length to help prevent rails from bending on impact. The seatpost pictured is 410mm long x 30.9mm diameter with no setback, but these are available any way you like 'em. Classic!

BANJO BROTHERS HANDLEBAR BAGS
I never thought I would be this excited about a handlebar bag. I got this bag to carry stuff (leashes, treats, etc) when my wife and I go riding with our dogs and it has worked out great. This is the medium version, which is 275 cubic inches (about the size of a football). It straps to the handlebars quickly with velcro straps, and has a stabilizer strap on either side that attaches to the fork. It's nice and rigid, has multiple interior and exterior pockets, including a clear flip-up map pocket (that flap on the front snaps into place, mine just happens to be dangling at the moment). It has a spot to clip on a light, and also has reflective accents. Super convenient, and only $29.99! We got 'em in stock, do yourself a favor and come pick one up!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ROAD BIKE RIDES
Just a reminder that we do a fun, relatively casual 18-20 mile group road bike ride every Wednesday night, weather permitting. All are welcome, only requirements are a road bike, a helmet, and a good attitude. Wow that is a nice saddle. Brooks Cambium C17 Carved, made in Italy of vulcanized natural rubber and organic cotton canvas, with an added cutout section which alleviates the pressure experienced by some long distance cyclists... 283mm X 162mm, this one is black but it is also available in slate grey and natural and also in a women's version. GROUP ROAD BIKE RIDE
Join us for our first group road bike ride of 2015! Departing the shop at 5:30 PM, we will attempt to do a casual 15 to 20 mile loop, with emphasis on having a good time and not leaving anyone behind! We are all rusty and weak, and the roads are terrible. Should be awesome! We will be giving out free pothole jumping advice. Please come early if you need cobwebs dusted off your bike!

The sun is out, that snow is melting, and it feels like a heatwave outside! Time to start thinking about bikes!
Just got in Giant's 2015 Talon 27.5 4 in blue... great all around mountain bike that features 27.5" wheels that roll over things more easily and have better traction than a 26" wheel, but without the added weight and slower acceleration of a 29" wheel.
Built on an ALUXX-grade butted aluminum frame with an SR Suntour XCT 100mm suspension fork with a hydraulic lockout and preload adjust, the Trance 27.5 4 also features a Giant Connect XC 31.8 handlebar, Shimano Altus/Acera derailleurs, SR Suntour XCE cranks (24/34/42t) and an 8 speed cassette in the rear. Braking is well tended to by the Tektro Auriga hydraulic disc brakes, and the whole package rolls on Giant alloy double-wall 32h rims laced to Giant Tracker Sport hubs with stainless steel spokes, and Giant 27.5 X 2.1 Sport tires.

Made from vulcanized natural rubber for flexibility and immediate comfort right out of the box, with a thin layer of organic cotton canvas for added resilience, this saddle is waterproof, maintenance free and built for life. Underneath you'll find die-cast aluminum structural bits, and tubular stainless steel rails.

GROUP MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE
