Giant Talon 29er 2, Talon 27.5 1
Got a couple of really nice hardtail mountain bikes in from Giant's Talon series just recently, the Talon 29er 2 and the Talon 27.5 1...
The Talon 29er 2 features, of course, the smooth, stable, easy rolling stability of 29" wheels, but also a nice but not-too-expensive parts package which includes a Shimano Acera/Alivio-level drivetrain, SR Suntour XCM HLO 100mm suspension fork with lockout, Tektro hyrdraulic disc brakes, and some double wall Giant wheels fitted with Schwalbe's fast rolling Rapid Rob tires... nice looking bike at a nice price!
Also got in the Talon 27.5 1, which features the more maneuverable, more lightweight 27.5" wheel size and a 30-speed drivetrain spec upgrade to Shimano Deore with a FSA Mega EXO crankset... 100mm Rock Shox XC Gold fork with lockout, Shimano M395 hydraulic disc brakes and a pretty awesome flat black finish! USED BIKES
Got a couple of used bikes ready to go recently...
First up is a Del Sol "LXI 1.0" with a 21" frame (would most likely fit someone 5'10" and up)... upright and comfortable riding position on this one, adjustable handlebar stem, suspension seatpost, brand new tires which are suitable for on or off-road use, and a 7 speed drivetrain... also includes a kickstand, price is only $99!
Next up is a Giant "Boulder W" women's mountain bike... smallish 17" frame (probably fit 5'4" to 5'9"?), 21 speed drivetrain and a newer seat, includes kickstand and water bottle holder, price is $150!
Both bikes have recieved tune ups and are in good working order, come take a look before they are gone!

BLACKBURN ROAD MIRRORS
We have had some requests for these, so we now stock Blackburn Road Mirrors in addition to the other mirrors we carry... they are inexpensive and they attach to your handlebars easily with a velcro strap... great product and it could save your life!

2014 GIANT TALON 27.5
Got in some of Giant's 2014 offerings with 27.5" wheels... perfect if you like the added traction and stability of a larger wheel size but find a 29" wheel to be too cumbersome and slow to respond on the trail!
The Talon 27.5 5 features an ALUXX grade aluminum hardtail frame paired with Suntour's XCT MLO 100mm suspension fork (with lockout), Tektro Novela mechanical disc brakes, Giant CR70 double wall rims and a 24-speed drivetrain.
Upgrades on the Talon 27.5 4 include Tektro HDC300 hydraulic disc brakes and an improved 27-speed drivetrain...

Had a couple of 2014 model year bicycles from Giant trickle in the door recently, the Talon 27.5 5 and the Avail 3!

CRANK BROS STERLING PUMPS
I am a big fan of Crank Brothers, and they have knocked it out of the park again with their new Sterling pumps which we just received... features a 6061 aluminum body for strength, an integrated gauge that reads up to 100 psi, a high volume/high pressure air switch, and two different sizes (198mm length at only 141 grams, or 276mm at 173 grams). Pretty awesome.

SPRING
We are starting to think about spring around here, especially since we are setting the clocks ahead tomorrow night and spring is only twelve days away!
Got in a bunch of spring apparel from Bellwether today, including the Criterium jersey in hi-vis green... this semi-fitted, mid-range jersey is perfect for those dimly lit spring mornings and evenings, it is hard to miss! Features three large rear pockets, flat stitched seams for comfort, elastic-free arm openings and an elastic gripper at the hem. Sizes small through XXL.
